Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this site or send us an enquiry. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
Global Eco Trading operates this site and decides how the information described below is used. Our registered office is at 305 Rama 2, Bang Mot, Chom Thong, Bangkok, Thailand. For anything in this policy, write to info@globalecotrading.co.th.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry. The form asks for your name, work email, phone number, company and your message. All of them are required: an enquiry we cannot answer or place in context is of no use to either side. We also record the page it came from and the time we received it.
When you simply visit. Our web server keeps standard access records: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These exist to run the service and to notice abuse, not to build a profile.
We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools, and those tools set cookies that record which pages you opened and how you arrived. We run no advertising scripts and no social widgets. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page tells nobody else that you were here. What the measurement tools collect, and how to refuse them, is set out in the Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and to carry the conversation forward if it becomes an order. Access records are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. Both are ordinary, expected uses of information you deliberately gave us; where consent is required, the form asks for it explicitly, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years from the last message between us, then deleted. If an enquiry becomes an order, the paperwork that follows is kept for as long as tax, customs and transport law requires. Access records are kept for thirty days.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry reaches us through a private notification channel and is stored on servers we control. Nobody buys, sells or rents this information, and we pass it to no one for marketing.
We share details only when a carrier, customs broker or terminal genuinely needs them to move your shipment, or when the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Our servers, and the notification service we use, may process information outside the country you write from. Where that happens, we rely on the standard safeguards available for such transfers.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to our using it, and ask us to pause that use while a question is resolved. Write to info@globalecotrading.co.th and we will answer within thirty days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
Access to enquiries is limited to the people who answer them. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the enquiry form is protected against automated abuse without any third-party service seeing what you wrote.
Children
This site offers wholesale services to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are described here rather than made quietly.
